About FRāM

Hi, thank you for visiting my site. 

FRaM was born from a desire to get back into the creative world and doing what I love...making artwork look it's best.

I have over 8 years experience as a picture framer, and was taught originally by my mother, who still to this day works from a workshop in her back garden with her partner Nev. Every wall in their home is covered with diverse art from all over the world 

- being surrounded not only by the art growing up,  but also seeing first hand the skill it takes to bring out the best in every piece has been and will always be a huge inspiration for me.

I properly cut my teeth under the watchful eye of Les Lawson, of the Lawson Gallery in Cambridge. Sadly both the gallery and Les are no longer with us but his influence and attention to detail has remained with me ever since. I quite often still ask myself 'what would Les think?' It's the perfect quality barometer!

Today FRaM brings both the skill of picture framing and the love of vintage and modern art to everyone. Art is wholely subjective, and in my opinion, shouldn't be trend driven. I only buy what moves me in some way and I encourage my clients to put art on their walls that really means something to them, or they were instantly attracted to.

What I offer is a framing service for any artwork , sourced by me or not, and I'll love talking through the options available to you.

I also offer help to anyone struggling to find the right pieces for their wall, for a present, or to curate an entire collection for your home.

I'd love to hear from so we can discuss what it is you're after. Nothing beats either bringing a piece of art to life, or seeing the joy on someone's face when the art they've chosen is up for the first time and they're delighted with it.
